Tanning in a nutshell

I think that there are valid points to both sides when it comes to tanning indoors and sunless tanning. I haven't exactly decided what side i am on when it comes to tanning. There is the fact that indoor tanning can be harmful to ones skin and health. It can cause wrinkles, melanoma increase, skin cell damage and cancer. At the same time there have been points made that getting some sunshine during the week can help improve vitamin d defiency which can help against cancer, heart disease, obesity, depression and arthrities. I think if you over do it you are more likely to get the bad effects of tanning but if you stick with the recommended amounts of time spent in a tanning bed you can avoid the health risk and possible become healthier. The sunless tanning is a great alternative although you are still not getting the recommended vitamin d from the sun as needed. Either way the cosmetic aspect of it works out. Sunless tanning is more pricer, but some people believe it is worth it because they do not want to damage there skin or take that risk with the health conditions that may occur. Time is a valuable thing to these days so the sunless tan is quicker but you would have to repeat the sunless tan constantly every week to stay tan as oppose to tanning in a tanning bed for a few weeks and your natural color lasting for about a month on its own. There are up sides and down sides to both sides, so which is the right side?

Porn on Airlines

If airlines start allowing passangers to view pornography on air flights it will become a problem with public decency. I believe there are already to many opinions & issues with even the thought of allowing pornography onto airline. Airlines are a public place for single men & women & families with kids, there are to many possibilities of offending someone. I personally think if you can't wait twenty-four hours to watch porn then maybe you shoudn't be on a plane or maybe you have a sexual problem that needs to be addressed. It is selfish and not nessecary to have people viewing porn on an air flight. What if kids saw or got a hold of it? What if someone it offends someone & starts a fight? People are very opininated these days and i believe it will only cause problems on air flights. Everyone has been dealing without it this whole time, why start allowing passangers to view it now?

Stereotyping

Stereotyping is something everyone does whether you think you do or not it, we do. As in the story, when you are walking down the sidewalk & you see a black man on his own with no one else around you may start to think of your saftey, but what you may not know is he could be an educated family orientated man but you still stereotyped him in your head. It is hard not society does it all the time so it is hard to change what you know. I think people need to stop being so closed minded and learn that we are all equals with the few exceptions but thats besides the point.

Obesity in America

America is the fastest growing country for obesity & overweight people. 1/3 of all americans are obese & 2/3 of all americans are overweight. If the government & society do not make a change the outcome will only get worse. I believe that the government should step up & provide more education to the public about the risk & diseases that can be caused by obesity. If our generation does not realize the damages that will be made if this continues, generations to come will face the same problems but most likely worse. I believe the government could watch over all fast food chains & the salt, fat & etc they put into food. They could put a ban on all unhealthy snacks in all public buildings. They could put a higher tax on unhealthier food. They could also educate people about nutrition & the risk of eating unhealthy & not being physically active. There is so much the government could do but they are not because they believe that it is a minor cut but reality is it is a deep wound. Heart disease, strokes & diabetes are all risk of obesity. Healthcare is opening their doors to help provide assistants but further down the road it is just another reason to raise everyones taxes because certain people do not want to take the time & worry about their own health. Society needs to be aware & not brush it off, something needs to be done & things need to change.
